Suppose your dog was to get hit by a car tonight. The local veterinary clinic closes at 6pm. Who you gonna call?
Just like with kids, the time to prepare for a pet emergency is long before it ever happens.
You need to scope out your neighbourhood and note which clinics are open for emergencies on a 24 hour basis. You will want to be aware of costs and surcharges for call outs.
You need to have the telephone numbers on hand and you have to be able to grab your pets passport before you rush out the door.
Thanks to Dr. Becker of Mercola Healthy Pets for the reminder.
